On These Old Delhi Streets

During the middle of the 32nd International Conference for Agricultural Economists, my research group decided to spend a day in Old Delhi. Through the lens of both an economist and an artist, I observed quietly as we drifted through narrow alleyways and abandoned, repurposed haveli.

Everything felt "in progress." Against the backdrop of exposed electrical wiring and half-paved roads, people seem to be in constant motion to fully utilize the changing infrastructure. Away from the grand conference halls, this is truly a developing country.
